Job summary

Grafana Labs is hiring for a remote, globally distributed engineering role focused on building and maintaining the Grafana Cloud telemetry stack. You will work on multi-tenant systems written in Go, delivering reliable and scalable services across major cloud providers.

You’ll collaborate with team members across time zones, influence the roadmap, and contribute to open-source components while embracing a culture of transparency and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development with at least one language (Go preferred).
• Comfort with modern cloud-native systems and distributed architectures.
• Experience shipping production-grade software and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate critical systems ensuring reliability and performance.
• Influence roadmaps and shape personal career objectives.
• Deliver new features with your team and iterate based on outcomes.
• Lead projects from ideation to customer-facing operations.
• Contribute to open-source projects and internal platforms as appropriate.
• Participate in on-call rotations and own the services you run.
