Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for its Virtual Health Assessment team in a part-time capacity. The role supports virtual care for Oscar Health Insurance members, with potential cross-training to Virtual Urgent Care. You will report to the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

The position is remote and open to qualified candidates in multiple states, including Nevada. The pay rate is $65.00–$75.00 per hour, with a 20-hour/week schedule and evening or day shifts listed.

Qualifications

• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program.
• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC).
• 3+ years experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.
• 2+ years of experience delivering virtual care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Use prescriptive authority as part of a collaborative practice, consulting with Physicians on the care team for comprehensive care.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers.
• Use remote examination tools and home monitoring equipment to support virtual visits.
• Participate in collaborative care model with multiple care team members including nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and a clinical supervisor when applicable.
• Attend meetings to support patient care including huddles and case conferencing.
• Provide feedback to improve operational workflows and product features.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned
