Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking an Examiner Nurse Practitioner to conduct VA C&P examinations, reviewing records and performing focused assessments to determine disability impact. You may perform charting from home as needed, with travel to clinics as required.

Qualified candidates hold an active NP license, have at least 1 year of NP experience, and can work independently while collaborating with QA and healthcare teams. Strong communication and HIPAA compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; valid unrestricted NP license in US.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Experience in medical disability examinations preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required (renewals).
• Military experience or familiarity with veterans preferred.
• Specialized training in Medical Disability Evaluations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Comprehensive Medical Disability Examinations with review of medical history and records.
• Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic results.
• Render objective medical opinions on disabilities and work capacity.
• Manage case load and communicate with QA team; document findings.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Ensure reports adhere to VA guidelines and formats.
