Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold valid unblocked NP license in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of experience performing medical disability examinations.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience with VA MDE program preferred.
• Military experience or familiarity with veterans preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• HIPAA compliance knowledge.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations and assessments.
• Review and analyze patient medical records and test results.
• Render objective medical opinions based on findings and reviews.
• Use case management systems to organize workload and submission of findings.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and VA staff as needed.
• Document examination findings clearly in VA-compliant reports.
• Coordinate with Loyal Source departments to meet deadlines.
• Ensure timely scheduling and availability for C&P exams.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA standards at all times.
• Comply with VA training requirements and QA feedback.
