Job summary

Applied Learning Group seeks an experienced Nurse Planner to lead the regulatory and educational aspects of our nurse CE program. You will oversee planning, development, and review of continuing education activities and manage provider approvals with nursing boards.

This is a part-time, fully remote W2 role open to candidates nationwide in the United States, approximately 20 hours per week, with growth potential as we pursue ANCC accreditation and higher responsibilities.

• Comfortable working independently in a remote, small-team environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead Nurse Planner for our nursing CE program: oversee planning, development, and evaluation of CE activities from needs assessment through post-activity evaluation.
• Prepare and manage CE provider approval applications with state boards and agencies, and serve as our primary contact.
• Recruit, onboard, and coordinate nurse subject-matter-expert authors; manage author pipeline from topic assignment through content review and signoff.
• Review and refine course planning documentation to ensure alignment with state requirements and ANCC NCPD criteria.
• Perform clinical and educational review of course content for accuracy, currency of evidence, and freedom from bias.
• Maintain complete, audit-ready activity files and support regulatory reporting requirements.
