Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Virtual Nurse to provide nursing care remotely from a centralized location. You will coordinate care, lead teams, and engage patients and families in daily care planning, working within the health-illness continuum.

The role requires an RN license, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of nursing experience, with ICU/Cardiac stepdown experience highly preferred. Day shift in Med Surg Unit 2, OhioHealth, Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support per American Heart Association.
• RN - Registered Nurse per Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 3+ years nursing experience; ICU/Cardiac stepdown highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum.
• Lead problem solving and coordinate care with the interprofessional team.
• Engage patients and families in developing and evaluating the plan of care daily.
