Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families across the health-illness continuum, working remotely from a centralized Ohio location.

The Virtual Nurse role partners with the care team to coordinate plans of care, assess needs, teach patients and families, and support safe discharge planning during 12-hour night shifts on Med Surg Unit 2.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in good standing (Ohio).
• BLS certification required.
• CPR certification and nursing clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and care for patients along the illness continuum.
• Plan and document nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and participate in quality initiatives.
• Lead and support the healthcare team in safe, high-quality care.
• Attend to safety, efficiency, and patient-family engagement.
