Job summary

Davies North America is hiring a Telephonic Nurse Case Manager for a full-time, home-based role in the United States. You will monitor, evaluate, and coordinate medical treatment under Workers' Compensation law, reporting to the Case Management Supervisor. The role emphasizes timely care, cost containment, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications include RN with 3–5 years of clinical experience, WC case management experience, and active state licensure. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• RN with 3–5 years of clinical experience (medical-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, ICCU, industrial or occupational)
• Must possess one of the following certifications: CCRN, CCM, CDMS, COHN, COHN-S if managing a WC/MCO claim
• At least 1 year of Workers' Compensation case management experience
• Proof of current State Licensure and eligible for endorsement in all other states
• Bi-lingual – fluent English/Spanish helpful
• Case-management experience mandatory – at least 1 year Workers' Compensation
• Field case or catastrophic case management and utilization review experience preferred
• Ability to demonstrate focus on cost containment while ensuring quality care

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic case management in a Workers' Compensation environment with focus on medical appropriateness and cost savings
• Facilitate communication among employee, representatives, employer, insurer, providers and rehabilitation consultants
• Ensure education is provided to the injured employee and document in the system
• Identify barriers to recovery and formulate actionable plans
• Evaluate recovery needs and monitor health records and outcomes
• Track treatment plans and modify as needed; develop alternatives
• Monitor utilization to ensure timely return-to-work and cost-effective care
• Advocate for patient while complying with legal and regulatory standards
