Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering.
• 7+ years in commercial nuclear engineering programs.
• Experience developing nuclear plant programs and procedures.
• 5+ years in commercial nuclear engineering design.
• Senior Reactor Operator or Shift Technical Advisor preferred.
• Procedures writing from plant design bases analyses preferred.
• Knowledge of licensing criteria for work control and maintenance.
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and leadership to guide a design team.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering program documents from project deliverables.
• Develop and review procedures with a distributed design team.
• Provide inputs on system requirements and strategy documents.
• Apply engineering principles to design of nuclear facilities.
• Support design reviews and resolve cross-functional concerns.
• Support teammates and contractors in plant development efforts.
• Continuously learn and apply nuclear industry best practices.
