Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• Experience performing analysis and design for reactor systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and travel to Idaho as project needs require.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and design for sodium-cooled reactor systems.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate thermal hydraulics models and simulations.
• Support reactor systems design activities and evaluate system performance against objectives and criteria.
• Apply CFD tools and/or reactor system analysis codes to assess fluid flow and heat transfer.
• Conduct safety analyses, transient analyses, and heat transfer evaluations for advanced reactor systems.
• Prepare and communicate technical results for design reviews and conceptual activities.
• Support licensing activities, design reviews, and advanced reactor development programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, national laboratories, and vendors.
• Travel to Idaho as needed to support design activities and project requirements.
