Job summary

NPower is seeking a remote Electrical Design Engineer to support Calvert Cliffs in MD. This role focuses on experienced modification projects for the nuclear site, with an emphasis on safety, reliability, and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a B.E./B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of nuclear design experience, proficiency with ETAP, and the ability to develop single-line diagrams, relay sizing calculations, and detailed design analyses. Remote work is available within the U.S.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.S. in Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 yrs experience.
• Experience with large electrical modifications including generators, excitors, relays, switchyard at a nuclear plant.
• Prior nuclear design engineering experience and knowledge of industry standard design procedures (IP-ENG-001).
• Experience with single line, wiring schematics, relay sizing calculations and analysis by detailed modeling of software (ETAP).
• Prior Constellation experience is a plus.
