Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Nuclear Contract Manager 3 to oversee procurement and contracts across the lifecycle of engineering, design, fabrication, testing, and construction contracts. The role operates within a hybrid model, with remote work permissible in the contiguous United States and in-office 4 days a week if within proximity to NuScale offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. or B.A. in Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, Economics, or related field is required.
• Master’s degree and/or Certified Purchasing Manager preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of full-time nuclear contract management experience within the nuclear industry.
• Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, evaluates, negotiates, and executes contracts including NDAs, subcontracts, MSAs, task orders and purchase orders.
• Acts as single point of contact on contractual matters and liaises between staff and suppliers.
• Provides redlined recommendations and negotiates with suppliers' attorneys or purchasing staff.
• Maintains contractual records and documentation for all contracts.
• Provides guidance on contract matters to project managers and staff.
• Monitors terms, conditions, and contracting practices; recommends changes.
• Produces and manages RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Coordinates reviews with legal and finance to minimize risks.
• Ensures contract closeout, extension, or renewal.
