Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for full-time remote work within the contiguous United States. You will oversee technical supplier activities for nuclear instrumentation & control (I&C) systems, specify manufacturing requirements, and serve as the primary liaison between design organizations and suppliers.

The role applies industry codes and standards, supports cost management and value engineering, reviews supplier documentation for QA/QC, and drives supplier performance

Qualifications

• BS in engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing of I&C systems.
• Experience with PLM and MS Office.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610/620; IEEE code preferred.
• Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.
• 10–25% travel to suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Interact with design organizations to interpret needs and direct manufacturing entities.
• Contribute to design organizations with knowledge of fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
• Prepare requirements documents and manage technical aspects of projects.
• Review supplier manufacturing docs for compliance with specs and QA/QC.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions.
• Assist cost management with estimates and value engineering.
• Prepare reports analyzing manufacturing trends and data.
• Maintain knowledge through workshops and professional activities.
