Job summary

Meridial seeks independent Norwegian Language Alignment & Resource Partners to vet, annotate, and QA AI data. You will ensure native-level linguistic accuracy, cultural nuance, and error-free outputs for a specialized project.

Contractors will generate educational resources from quality insights and provide linguistic consultation throughout production. Remote work is available, with compensation per hour based on experience and geography.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable work or educational experience in linguistics, education, or other fields requiring high attention to linguistic detail.
• Prior tangible experience working in human data evaluation or annotation.
• Verified Norwegian language proficiency of C1 or C2.
• Ability to transform raw feedback and quality trends into structured educational resources.
• A meticulous approach to language and the ability to identify and correct subtle phrasing.

Responsibilities

• Data Annotation & Review: review, annotate, and test AI outputs for grammar and naturalness.
• Quality Assurance & Vetting: act as primary quality check during production to fix cultural or phrasing issues.
• Resource Generation: analyze trends and develop educational resources and feedback documentation.
• Production & Vetting Support: provide native-language vetting during project scaling and consult on linguistic issues.
