Vettedlance is seeking a meticulous Norwegian transcription specialist to turn spoken Norwegian into clean, accurate text for AI training. You will transcribe recordings word-for-word, flag speakers and noise, and note dialect cues to improve transcript quality.

This remote, part-time hourly contract offers flexible 10-40 hours per week with weekly USD payments. Prior transcription or subtitling experience is a plus, and strong written English is required for instructions.

Qualifications

• Native or professional-level Norwegian with good written English.
• Sharp listening across accents and dialects.
• High accuracy on repetitive, detail-heavy work.
• Prior transcription, subtitling or language QA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe Norwegian audio word-for-word using the project style guide.
• Correct errors in machine-generated or earlier human transcripts.
• Mark speakers, unclear passages, noise and unusable clips.
• Add notes on dialect, accent or context when asked.
