Job summary

#twiceasnice Recruiting seeks a Regional Sales Manager to drive Northeast growth in the food ingredients market. You will manage an established portfolio while aggressively prospecting new customers and building strategic relationships.

In this remote Northeast role (MA to NJ, eastern NY, eastern PA), you will lead the full sales cycle, collaborate with R&D, and travel 2–3 days per week to cover the territory. Competitive compensation with a ~20% bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of B2B food ingredient sales experience.
• Proven success developing new business with food manufacturers.
• Understanding of ingredient formulations and technical specifications.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Driver’s license and ability to travel 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business with food manufacturers throughout the Northeast.
• Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio.
• Build a pipeline through prospecting, networking, and customer visits.
• Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach through negotiation and closing.
• Identify customer needs and recommend customized food ingredient solutions.
• Collaborate with R&D on samples, formulations, and product development.
• Manage pricing, quotations, forecasting, and account profitability.
• Build relationships with purchasing, R&D, and manufacturing decision-makers.
• Coordinate internal resources to move customer projects into production.
