Job summary

Albright College INCA, a nonprofit and civic administration unit, seeks a part-time, remote/onsite accounting/finance student to support government and nonprofit financial operations. The role covers reconciliations, AP/AR, GL entries, and budgeting forecasts, under supervision of the Finance Manager.

Opportunity for on-site work as client needs dictate. The position targets juniors/seniors in Albright College's Finance or Accounting programs, offering exposure to public-sector reporting, grants

Qualifications

• GAAP and GASB knowledge applied to government and nonprofit accounting.
• Basic understanding of budget development and reporting.
• Familiar with municipal accounting and reporting requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Enter AP/AR transactions and create GL entries.
• Assist with implementing accounting systems.
• Develop financial reporting and budgeting forecasts.
• Support audit reconciliations and fund compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance Manager and client staff onsite or remotely.
