Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee remote operations of national development initiatives. You will lead strategic planning, design, budgeting, and execution across distributed teams to meet program goals.

You will mentor program officers, manage relationships with funders and partners, and drive continuous improvement through robust monitoring and reporting. A Master’s degree and remote leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5–7 years in program management, remote leadership preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and teams.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, M&E, and RBM.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Trello, Slack, MS Teams).

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end management of multiple programs, aligned with strategy and mission.
• Lead and mentor a remote team of program staff, fostering high performance.
• Develop program plans, budgets, and timelines; track progress and resources.
• Identify and mitigate risks; implement solutions for success.
• Cultivate relationships with funders, partners, and beneficiaries.
• Monitor outcomes and produce reports for leadership and funders.
• Ensure compliance with grant agreements and donor requirements.
• Drive program design innovation and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate collaboration among remote team members and partners.
