Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking an undergraduate intern to join the Non-Clinical Safety team, part-time during the academic year and full-time during summer breaks.

You will organize and improve study information, build tools to track progress, and contribute to continuous improvement projects within Non-Clinical Development. You'll gain hands-on exposure to DMPK, toxicology, and pharmacokinetics, while learning how data supports CNS drug development and the broader research process.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program in life sciences or related field.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail in organizing and documenting scientific information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Smartsheet experience preferred.
• Able to organize and prioritize work and move projects forward independently.
• Curious and motivated to learn about non-clinical development and pharmaceutical industry.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different scientific and functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Review, organize, and assign metadata to reports from in vitro DMPK studies.
• Build and maintain a dashboard or tracking tool showing status of in vitro DMPK studies.
• Take ownership of assigned projects, manage timelines, provide progress updates.
• Support continuous improvement projects across Non-Clinical Development, including Toxicology and Pharmacokinetics.
• Work with colleagues to understand how data contributes to drug development process.
• Identify opportunities to improve organization, accessibility, and usefulness of Non-Clinical information and tools.
