Job summary

Movate Technologies, a remote-First TAC-focused team, seeks a Network Security Engineer to troubleshoot complex network security incidents for global clients. You will analyze packet captures with Wireshark, diagnose VPN and proxy issues, and collaborate with client engineering and operations teams to restore secure connectivity.

The role requires 3+ years in network security or TAC support, remote work eligibility, and night-shift availability. Experience with Zendesk or ServiceNow is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional hands-on experience in network security, TAC engineering, or enterprise network support.
• Strong troubleshooting in enterprise Firewalls, IPsec VPNs, and GRE tunnels.
• Deep knowledge of SSL handshakes, TLS, and HTTP/HTTPS proxies.

Responsibilities

• Provide TAC support and troubleshooting for enterprise network security infrastructure.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents involving firewalls, IPsec VPNs, SSL/TLS handshakes, and GRE tunnels.
• Capture and interpret network packet flows using Wireshark to diagnose connectivity and handshake issues.
• Troubleshoot web proxy configurations and secure web gateway traffic flows.
• Document findings and resolutions within Zendesk or similar ticketing systems.
• Coordinate with global clients and cross-functional teams to resolve outages.
