In this critical technical assistance center (TAC) role, you will be responsible for providing high-tier troubleshooting and diagnostic support for enterprise security architectures, firewalls, IPsec VPNs, SSL handshakes, GRE tunnels, TLS protocols, and web proxies operating on night shift schedules. You will leverage advanced packet analysis tools like Wireshark to diagnose complex network anomalies, resolve critical client escalations, and ensure uncompromised uptime and security across global enterprise infrastructures. Detailed Job Description

As a Network Security Engineer (TAC Engineer) at Movate Technologies, you will take full operational ownership of troubleshooting advanced networking and security incidents for global enterprise clients from a remote workspace during night shifts. Your day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing complex packet captures using Wireshark, troubleshooting IPsec and GRE tunnel failures, diagnosing SSL/TLS handshake anomalies, and resolving proxy and firewall configuration issues. You will investigate OSI layer bottlenecks, examine ARP tables, DHCP bindings, and TCP/IP flows, and coordinate cross-functional incident resolution with client engineering teams. Furthermore, you will document troubleshooting steps, maintain ticket resolution SLAs within ticketing systems like Zendesk, and contribute to continuous security service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical assistance center (TAC) support and troubleshooting for enterprise network security infrastructure.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional hands-on experience in network security, TAC engineering, or enterprise network support.


• Strong practical expertise and troubleshooting proficiency in enterprise Firewalls, IPsec VPNs, and GRE tunnels.


• Deep operational knowledge of SSL handshakes, TLS protocol encryption, and HTTP/HTTPS proxies.


• Advanced packet analysis and diagnostic skills utilizing Wireshark for deep packet inspection (DPI).


• Strong theoretical and practical understanding of the OSI networking model, TCP/IP stack, ARP, DHCP, and packet flow mechanics.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective remote client collaboration and technical documentation.


• Mandatory availability for dedicated night shift operational hours.
