Reader’s Digest is part of Trusted Media Brands, Inc., a diversified media company with a global audience. We’re seeking a Newsletter Editor to craft daily and weekly RD newsletters, curate cross-brand content, and optimize performance through data-driven strategies and strong headlines.

You will collaborate with editorial teams to pitch and edit content and grow readership. You will drive content strategy and execution, balancing storytelling with analytics, while maintaining the brand voice

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years editorial experience in digital publishing.
• Ideally at least 2 years producing newsletters.
• Working understanding of CMS, SEO, and performance tools such as Google Analytics.
• Experience packaging content for different distribution channels.
• Open, creative mind and ability to pivot quickly as data informs.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, schedule, and build the daily and weekly Reader’s Digest and The Healthy newsletters.
• Write all newsletter copy, including subject lines, headlines and dek; select photos/GIFs.
• Monitor traffic and trends using performance tools; adapt strategies as needed.
• Send monthly performance reports on traffic, trends and strategies.
• Pitch and ideate newsletter franchises and strategies to grow traffic and reach.
• Coordinate with Visuals team to produce newsletter imagery.
• Pitch new story ideas weekly based on newsletter successes.
• Contribute to SEO-driven content planning and sitewide initiatives.
• Write and edit content for Reader’s Digest online newsletters.
• Update the homepage daily to reflect news/features.
• Produce daily storyboards for RD’s Flipboard channel.
