Qualifications

• Five years of property and casualty underwriting experience (preferred).

• Understanding of portfolio management and ability to balance growth and profit dynamics.
• Self-starter with creative thinking and an ability to create opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Actively pipeline accounts in the territory and work with leadership to grow revenue.
• Strategically engage partner agents to drive large account business.
• Support renewal underwriters serving the territory with renewal and service engagement.
• Manage claims and loss control service at the point of sale and coordinate first-year direction.
• Engage with field representatives to build annual sales objectives with agents.
• Understand agency planning and impact of contingency/supplemental commission arrangements.
• Drive top and bottom-line results within the territory.
