Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is a fast-growing long-term care pharmacy seeking a Full-Time Remote New Accounts Data Entry Technician to join our team.

You will enter medication orders, verify patient information, and support onboarding of new facilities from a remote location. The role requires an experienced Pharmacy Technician with strong data entry, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with pharmacists and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experienced Pharmacy Technician required.
• Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of FrameworkLTC or other EMR/pharmacy operating systems preferred.
• Previous hospital, retail, or specialty pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter patient medication orders from provided new facility "trash runs".
• Review and verify patient information for completeness and accuracy.
• Run and maintain double faxes throughout the facility transition timeline.
• Assist other SpecialtyRx locations with daily workload during downtime.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the pharmacy operating system.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate onboarding of new facilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
