Job summary

UConn Health Community Network is seeking an experienced Remote Neuroradiologist to provide neuroradiology and general diagnostic radiology coverage for community hospitals and outpatient imaging sites. Fully remote position with a UConn Health-provided PACS workstation.

Full-time and part-time candidates will be considered. Weekday shifts and weekend daytime neuroradiology/general radiology call are required, with expectations to interpret brain, spine, and head/neck studies and deliver timely

Qualifications

• MD/DO with completion of ACGME-accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship.
• ABR certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Connecticut medical license or eligibility.
• Eligibility for UConn community faculty appointment and medical staff privileges.

Responsibilities

• Interpret brain, head and neck, and spine CT/MRI, including CTA/MRA and perfusion imaging.
• Provide acute stroke, hemorrhage, and trauma imaging interpretation.
• Interpret general diagnostic imaging, including radiography, CT, and ultrasound.
• Provide timely reports, clinician consultation, and imaging protocoling.
• Participate in weekend call, peer review, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

• Weekday shifts
• Weekend daytime neuroradiology/general radiology call

Responsibilities

• Interpret brain, head and neck, and spine CT/MRI, including CTA/MRA and perfusion imaging.
• Provide acute stroke, hemorrhage, and trauma imaging interpretation.
• Interpret general diagnostic imaging, including radiography, CT, and ultrasound.
• Provide timely reports, clinician consultation, and imaging protocoling.
• Participate in weekend call, peer review, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Preferred: ABR Neuroradiology certification, acute stroke imaging experience, teleradiology/multi-site experience, and community hospital experience.
