Job summary

UConn Health Community Network seeks a Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging to join its community-based radiology program in a hybrid full-time role with part-time options.

The position includes on-site breast imaging and procedures with remote interpretation for community partners, plus weekend daytime call and collaboration across breast imaging, surgery, oncology and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of ACGME Diagnostic Radiology residency and Breast Imaging fellowship; ABR board certification.
• MQSA interpreting physician qualification.
• Experience with breast MRI, biopsy and localization preferred; CT/MRI/Ultrasound in breast imaging.

Responsibilities

• Screening and diagnostic mammography, tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
• Image-guided breast procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsy and localization.
• Remote interpretation of general radiology studies for community hospital partners.
• Weekend daytime general radiology call.
• Collaborate with UConn breast imaging, breast surgery, oncology, and community clinical teams.
• Opportunities for teaching and participation in multidisciplinary breast care.

UConn Health Community Network is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging to join its growing community-based radiology program. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity, with part-time candidates also considered.

The position combines on-site breast imaging and procedures at community imaging locations with remote general diagnostic radiology for community hospital partners. The radiologist will also participate in weekend daytime general radiology call.

Experience with MRI-guided breast biopsy, contrast-enhanced mammography, ACR accreditation, or community-based/multi-site radiology practice is preferred.
