Join our team as a NOC Technician and play a vital role in maintaining the performance and reliability of Alaska's essential communications infrastructure.

This position can sit 100% remote.

What You'll Do

As a NOC Technician, you'll be on the front lines of our 24/7 operations, monitoring and managing our Wireless Radio Access Network (RAN) and Core Transport Network. Your mission: ensure maximum uptime, rapid response to outages, and seamless service for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor network performance and respond to alarms and outages in real-time.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to restore service quickly and efficiently.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians, using real-world events as learning opportunities.
  • Document incidents, generate reports, and communicate status updates to leadership.
  • Participate in disaster recovery efforts and emergency response protocols.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 1+ year in a telecommunications or network operations environment.
  • Education: Associate's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications: CCNA preferred but not required. Or equivalent knowledge of the OSI model and network troubleshooting.
  • Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with Windows, and network monitoring tools.
  • Mindset: Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
