Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Domain Consultant to provide technical expertise in network security and zero-trust journeys for global customers. You will define technical solutions, evangelize industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical wins.

This remote role involves travel to support customer meetings and RFIs/RFPs, with a focus on strengthening security postures and shaping customer success.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering within Zero Trust, Networking, Network Security, SaaS Security or SSE/SASE.
• Experience with L2-L4 Networking (Switching, VLANs, IP routing, OSPF/BGP).
• Outstanding customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience collaborating with customers and solving problems with a can-do attitude.
• Strong understanding of NGFW, Network Security, SASE, SD-WAN, CASB, Proxy, DLP and BYOD solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of on-premise and cloud-delivered network security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to develop customer solutions within your specialization.
• Present to customers at all levels from practitioner to senior leadership.
• Lead and support customer demonstrations showcasing our value.
• Own technical validation projects with customers and partners to drive technical win.
• Architect solutions to strengthen and simplify customers' security posture.
• Document high-level designs and use cases for proper implementation and value realization.
• Lead discussions on industry trends and changes to the security landscape.
• Align products with customer requirements and differentiators.
• As main technical contact for Network Security, respond to RFIs/RFPs.
• Position Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services for proper implementation.
• Discuss competitive offers and position ours as best option.
• Maintain specialized breadth/depth of knowledge.
