Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Network & Infrastructure Security Analyst (AI Training) to work remotely as an hourly contract. You’ll apply hands-on experience to evaluate security scenarios, classify incidents, and inform how next‑generation AI understands enterprise threats.

Join a flexible, async team; 10–40 hours per week; work with firewalls, EDR, IAM, and SIEMs; analyze production security controls and contribute to AI labeling and evaluation projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on security experience in network, infrastructure, or endpoint roles.
• Familiar with firewalls, EDR, IAM, and SIEMs in production environments.
• Ability to explain root causes and downstream impact clearly.
• Self-directed and reliable for async work.

Responsibilities

• Analyze network, endpoint, and email security scenarios across enterprise stacks.
• Review firewall, EDR, and infrastructure security cases to identify issues.
• Classify incidents and misconfigurations using real operational data.
• Create, label, and validate security training datasets for AI systems.
• Articulate root causes and attacker techniques with business impact.
• Work independently on task-based assignments on your schedule.
