Job summary

Capital City Bank Group, Inc. is seeking a Network Operations Manager to oversee the implementation and administration of the company’s network operations, including servers, VMware, Citrix, and security.

You will lead a team of engineers and a Help Desk, driving performance improvements while maintaining cost controls. The role emphasizes collaboration with the CTO on security practices, capacity planning, and continuous improvement of network service capabilities.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of management in network architecture and operations.
• Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies.
• 5-10 years’ experience in technical support role with progressive responsibility.
• Technical certifications or equivalent are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure.
• Lead a team of network engineers and a Help Desk providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Ensure security by enforcing best practices for firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and network hardening.
• Monitor network traffic and usage patterns to forecast future capacity needs.
• Forecasting of budgetary requirements and reporting security events.
