Job summary

MGT is seeking a Network Infrastructure Pre-Sales Engineer in Houston, TX. You will lead pre-sales presentations, demonstrate solutions on-site or virtually, and collaborate with sales to craft proposals and tailored architectures.

Responsibilities include on-site engagements, architectural oversight on large projects, post-sales support, and identifying opportunities for MSP solutions such as monitoring, SIEM/SOC, and cloud VoIP. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in an applicable technology field.
• Two or more years in pre-sales engineering.
• Ability to design and implement large-scale solutions including budgetary and BOM.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent customer presentation skills.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing learning and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer presentations and demos; support sales with proposals.
• Attend on-site meetings and provide technical guidance.
• Provide architect-level design oversight on large projects.
• Deliver post-sales technical support during startup and after implementation.
• Identify and promote MSP solutions (Monitoring, SIEM/SOC, VoIP).
