Job summary

Kadiak LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an experienced Network & Infrastructure Engineer to support the Health IT modernization program with the Indian Health Service. The role is remote and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities include engineering oversight, translating requirements into actionable tasks, reviewing designs, and coordinating across vendor teams to ensure infrastructure readiness and secure connectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in IT infrastructure or network engineering roles.
• Experience coordinating enterprise infrastructure initiatives across multiple teams.
• Experience with infrastructure testing, config mgmt, and vendor artifacts.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical engineering oversight for network and infrastructure activities supporting IHS modernization.
• Translate architecture and requirements into actionable implementation tasks.
• Review designs for alignment with enterprise standards and technical adequacy.
• Support LAN/WAN connectivity, routing, VLANs, firewalls, DNS, and cloud/hybrid infra.
• Coordinate inputs across network, security, application, and vendor teams.
• Review test plans, validation procedures, and evidence for infrastructure readiness.
• Assist with ISAs, PPSM documentation, and ICDs.
