Job summary

Lumen Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Network Implementation Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of OSP-related projects.

The role involves coordinating engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget, and high-quality execution, while reporting progress to stakeholders. Based in Alabama, this remote position requires 5+ years of telecom experience, strong PM skills, and proficiency with CAD, 3GIS, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of telecom network engineering, construction, maintenance, and repair experience.
• Project management and coordination skills.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of CAD, 3GIS, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end projects involving relocation, maintenance, repair, and construction of OSP facilities.
• Oversee construction from concept through completion, meeting quality, budget, and delivery requirements.
• Build effective working relationships with engineering vendors, construction contractors, trade workers, and project managers.
• Balance workloads across resources to support project schedules and delivery commitments.
• Monitor vendor work through inspections and coordinate corrective action.
• Serve as the field interface for engineering and construction activities.
• Report project progress to stakeholders and maintain accurate information in systems.
• Create GCRs for maintenance activities on the fiber network.
