Job summary

CPI Card Group is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer II to support and enhance our enterprise network infrastructure. This remote role requires candidates to reside in the Denver, Las Vegas, or Fort Wayne area to collaborate on multi-site environments and critical operations.

You will design, implement, and maintain LAN/WAN, wireless, firewall, and VPN solutions, ensuring security, reliability, and performance. Expect on-call duties and continuous improvement across the network fabric.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of network engineering and/or operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience supporting enterprise, multi-site network environments.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, and VPN solutions.
• Maintain and optimize network performance, reliability, and capacity.
• Perform ongoing maintenance, including patching, upgrades, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a production environment.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and on-call responsibilities.
• Ensure network configurations meet security and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and continuous improvement efforts.
