Job summary

Construction Partners, Inc. is seeking a mid-to-senior Network Engineer with a security-first mindset to own projects across multiple sites. You will configure enterprise switching and wireless, administer firewalls, and lead acquisition network deployments end-to-end, including site surveys and circuit coordination.

You will design VLAN segmentation, enforce NAC policies, document security implications, and mentor junior staff. Expect travel across multiple states as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of networking in multi-site/enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with enterprise switching and wireless; UniFi/UISP preferred.
• Experience with a next-gen firewall (Palo Alto preferred).
• Strong routing/switching knowledge: VLANs, OSPF, BGP.
• Knowledge of NAC concepts and VPN configurations.
• Ability to lead multi-site network deployments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy enterprise switching and wireless infrastructure at sites and acquisitions.
• Design VLAN segmentation, implement NAC, and enforce security practices.
• Lead acquisition network replacements end-to-end; coordinate with senior engineers.
• Troubleshoot Cradlepoint, Starlink, fiber, and broadband circuits; manage VPNs.
• Maintain Netbox records and support escalation for complex LAN/WAN issues.
• Travel to branch/acquisition sites as needed.
