Job summary

Pavago is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, configure, secure, and maintain enterprise networks across multiple environments. This remote role supports U.S.

client operations with on-call readiness and incident response. You will work with routing, switching, firewalls, monitoring, and security best practices, collaborating with cloud, DevOps, and IT teams to ensure uptime, scalability, and reliable service delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on network engineering experience.
• Proficient with Cisco devices and enterprise routing/switching.
• Experience with firewall policies, VPNs, and security concepts.
• Knowledge of VLANs, QoS, and routing protocols (OSPF/BGP).
• Familiar with ITIL/change management and network documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco/Juniper/Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Implement VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and routing protocols.
• Monitor network performance with capable tools.
• Respond to incidents with RCA documentation.
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams on hybrid networking.
• Maintain up-to-date network diagrams and runbooks.
