Job summary

Trexon is seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our global network infrastructure. The role requires leading collaboration with peer engineers on design and security architecture across multiple locations and time zones.

You will work with switching, routing, wireless networking, VPN, and cloud networking solutions, producing clear documentation and meeting critical priorities. Remote with travel flexibility is available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/CS.
4+ years IT experience in midsize or enterprise environments.
2+ years in Network Engineering/Architecture; senior/lead a plus.

Responsibilities

Design comprehensive networking solutions for each business unit.
Configure and install network devices and services (switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless access points).
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and connectivity issues.
Perform maintenance and upgrades outside core hours.
Enforce network security policies and best practices.
Collaborate with peers and vendors to resolve issues.
Document network architecture, configuration, and procedures.
Travel as needed to set up or maintain systems.
Provide on-call support for network emergencies.
