Goldbelt Incorporated in Alaska is seeking a Network Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and optimize our enterprise network across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role emphasizes compliance, cybersecurity, and operational excellence for federal and commercial customers.

The position is remote with occasional travel; candidates based in Juneau are preferred due to local network complexity. Strong experience in VPNs, firewalls, and Aruba/SonicWALL is highly valued.

Formación

• Experience with routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls in enterprise networks.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across multi-environment setups.
• Familiarity with NIST/DoD security requirements and audits.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN/VPN).
• Monitor performance and capacity; ensure reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues including security incidents.
• Implement and maintain network security controls per standards.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers (HPE Aruba, SonicWALL, VMware).
• Support cloud/hybrid networks (Azure, AWS) and on-premise environments.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and baselines; participate in upgrades.
• Provide Tier II/III support and on-call coverage; ensure compliance with policies.
