Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a Network Advanced Services Engineer (Data Center/Network Automation) in the Pacific Northwest. This role blends post-sales engineering with strategic pre-sales support, focusing roughly 70% on post-sales activities and 30% on pre-sales.

You will collaborate with field engineers, product teams, and TAC to design robust architectures, automate configurations with Python/Ansible, and guide customers from deployment to operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–7+ years in network engineering or professional services for large-scale environments.
• Post-sales focused experience (Network Consulting Engineer/Professional Services) preferred.
• Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN/EVPN.
• Deep knowledge in Data Center, Campus networking, or network security.
• Hands-on network automation with Python and Ansible.
• Experience with multi-vendor migrations desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong documentation skills.
• Remote role with occasional travel to the Pacific Northwest.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, deployment, and operation of Arista solutions in large-scale Data Center, Campus, and WAN environments.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, resilient network architectures.
• Review designs and provide best-practice recommendations during on-site and remote sessions.
• Lead migrations from Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba to EOS-based infrastructure.
• Develop network automation workflows using Python and Ansible.
• Act as the customer advocate, coordinating with Arista TAC and internal teams.
• Establish long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.
