Arista Networks is seeking a Network Systems Engineer (Pre-Sales) in NYC to join the Sales Engineering team. The role focuses on pre-sales technical support for enterprise and financial service customers in the NYC Metro area, partnering with account teams to identify opportunities and capture requirements.

As a trusted advisor, you will present Arista solutions, architect designs, and guide customers through PoC testing while collaborating with Product Management, Software Development, and TAC

Qualifications

• BS/CS/CE technical degree required.
• 5+ years of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience (Data Center, Campus, Wi‑Fi).
• Expert in Ethernet, routing, switching, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN/VxLAN, QoS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Arista product presentations (Open Networking Data Center, Cognitive Campus, CloudVision).
• Architect, design and propose Arista Data Center & Campus network solutions.
• Engage in Proof of Concept testing and validation.
• Respond to RFP/RFQs with sales teams.
• Author technical white papers and provide product feedback.
