Job summary

JobGether is seeking a Network Administrator to monitor and manage client networks across LAN/WAN, wireless, and connectivity services. You will own tickets from evaluation to resolution, keep detailed records, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams to support onboarding and projects.

The role emphasizes proactive performance analysis, cybersecurity awareness, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote US-based environment. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience that includes network administration.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in network administration or a closely related technical support role.
• Practical experience or formal training in LAN, WAN, wireless networking, and VoIP technologies and architectures.
• Understanding of network operating systems, network monitoring and management platforms, connectivity infrastructure, and application-layer protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage network alerts, incidents, and escalated tickets with timely investigation and resolution.
• Provide day-to-day administration and support for LAN, WAN, wireless networks, and connectivity services.
• Own service tickets from assessment to resolution with accurate documentation and updates.
• Monitor performance, analyze trends, identify vulnerabilities, and implement preventive measures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues for reliable operations.
