Job summary

Canonical is seeking a Systems & Controls Accountant to lead the design and operation of financial systems, processes, and controls, with a focus on NetSuite configurations, data governance, and revenue recognition for SaaS and services.

The role collaborates with product management, legal, FP&A, and sales operations across global teams; travel for audits and annual team sprints is possible. A CPA/IFRS background and experience with NetSuite and Salesforce are essential.

Qualifications

CPA/CA or equivalent with IFRS experience.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, or compelling narrative alternative path.

Responsibilities

Lead complex NetSuite configuration, workflows, customization, and integration.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance within NetSuite and connected systems.
Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to provide insights into business performance.
Coordinate system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting for reliability.
Provide training and support to end-users to enhance NetSuite proficiency.
Mentor and aid the accounting/finance team in automation initiatives.
