Job summary

Hire Hangar Global is seeking an Accounting Specialist to take over day-to-day accounting for a growing US business. You will handle billing, payroll, card reconciliation and bookkeeping in NetSuite, and work directly with the business owner and their CPA.

Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, ensuring timely payroll, maintaining clean NetSuite records and reconciling high-volume card transactions. Remote work is required with CST business hours.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years ofexperience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite.
• Experience with accounts receivable, payroll and card reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle high transaction volumes.
• Strong written and spoken English with a clear, professional communication style.
• Available to work during US Central Time business hours.
• Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana) and ideally worked with US/UK-based companies.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable: bill customers and follow up on payments.
• Make sure employees are paid correctly and on time.
• Keep the books clean and up to date in NetSuite.
• Reconcile and categorize high-volume card transactions, especially Oct–Dec.
• Support a smooth handover from the current accounting agency.
• Communicate directly with the business owner and their CPA.
