Job summary

Berkley Medical Management Solutions (BMMS) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to participate in the full software development life cycle, debugging applications and configuring systems. You will work within a team to deliver robust, reliable solutions across backend, frontend and database layers.

The role requires 3+ years of .NET experience, full stack skills, and familiarity with modern web technologies and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a relevant field
• 3+ years of experience as a .NET Developer with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET
• Experience building full stack web applications (backend, frontend, DB)
• Knowledge of .NET, C# and JavaScript
• Experience with HTML5, Angular, Node, React; RabbitMQ, MS SQL, SignalR, Jira, Confluence is preferred
• Experience with .NET Core, APIs (REST & GraphQL), Microservices, Windows services, Async processing, Multi-Threading and Cloud
• SQL proficiency and knowledge of SQL Server or MySQL
• Experience creating RESTful APIs using Web API
• Understanding of software design patterns and Agile/Scrum
• Cloud knowledge with Azure or AWS
• Unit testing, debugging and code quality focus
• Experience with middleware like RabbitMQ, Kafka
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Participates in requirements analysis and stays current with new tools and technologies
• Collaborates with internal teams to produce software design, architecture and documentation
• Write clean, scalable code using C#, SQL, .NET technologies and related Web/Middleware tech
• Implement and integrate APIs for data exchange between components
• Refactor, debug, review code and apply best practices
• Enhance existing software and provide technical support
• Develop documentation through the SDLC
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, clients, providers and other departments
