Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Lead to steer the development and enhancement of enterprise applications in a healthcare setting. The role emphasizes leadership with hands-on design and coding across .NET Core, C#, RESTful services, and Azure AI-powered solutions.

The candidate will guide integration, performance tuning, and modernization, leveraging Azure OpenAI, RAG, and Kubernetes/OpenShift, while mentoring teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience with .NET Framework/.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, HTML5, and CSS.
• 5–10 years of experience with RAG, Azure OpenAI, Azure Document Intelligence, and Azure AI Search.
• Hands-on experience with .NET Core 3.1/5.0, EF, ADO.NET, RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing and supporting SOAP Web Services and Web APIs.
• Strong SQL Server, T‑SQL/PL/SQL, LINQ, relational DB development.
• Experience with NUnit, MSTest, and xUnit.
• Experience with Swagger, YAML, JSON, XML/XSD, XSLT/XPath.
• Experience using Git and SDLC best practices.
• Knowledge of NLog/Log4Net and application logging.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end support and delivery of enterprise apps and APIs.
• Mentor teams; drive best practices across software engineering.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Design cloud-native solutions using Azure OpenAI, microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliability and performance.
