Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a talented C# Developer - II for a fully remote role with the Veterans Affairs department. You will design, develop, and test .NET applications, collaborating with stakeholders and contributing to CI/CD pipelines while upholding security and coding standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in .NET, strong OOP and REST APIs, SQL Server, cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS), and experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD. This is a US-based, W2, remote opportunity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of .NET development experience with C#.
• Experience with MVC and .NET Core back-end development.
• Strong OOP and design pattern knowledge.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and SQL Server.
• Familiar with Azure/AWS and CI/CD.
• Proficient in Git and TFVC.
• Understanding of security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan requirements, test planning, and software integration.
• Develop services: concept design, testing, installation, maintenance.
• Participate in daily stand-ups as part of Agile team.
• Develop with .NET back-end, C#, NUnit tests, CI/CD.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Provide production support as needed.
• Mentor juniors and promote best practices.
