Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in Authorization coordination or similar logistics-based role.
• 1+ year experience in a high-volume inbound call center or customer service environment.
• Strong data entry skills; ability to manage high call volume and multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of cost tracking, budgeting, or service expense management.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Authorization Management – Verify and document health plan travel authorizations, request and secure pre-approvals, and confirm details with medical facilities.
• Member Support – Provide clear, compassionate communications about authorizations, approved providers, and denials. Deliver timely documentation to both members and health plans.
• Health Plan Relations – Build and maintain positive partnerships with approval teams at each Health Plan
• Data & Reporting – Maintain accurate, detailed records in alignment with compliance requirements.
• Productivity & Quality – Meet departmental performance standards while maintaining exceptional service quality and member satisfaction.
• Flexibility – Adapt to changes in travel schedules and unforeseen circumstances while ensuring members’ needs remain the priority.
