Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Bar in good standing is required.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school is required.
• 2-4+ years of legal practice experience is required; workers' compensation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and defend an active caseload of North Carolina workers' compensation matters for clients.
• Develop case strategy with experienced attorneys and provide practical recommendations.
• Handle all phases of litigation including discovery, motions, hearings, depositions, and trial prep.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and filings with agencies and courts.
• Conduct legal research and analyze claims, medical records, and exposure.
• Communicate with clients, adjusters, opposing counsel, and stakeholders on status and strategy.
