Job summary

Axius Group LLC is seeking an experienced NC Programmer to develop and optimize CNC programs for aerospace components. You will create precise tool paths from CAD models and engineering specs, collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to meet stringent aerospace standards.

You will write efficient G-code/M-code for milling, turning, and multi-axis work, assist with tooling and setups, and continuously improve processes to reduce defects and cycle times while maintaining detailed

Qualifications

Must have 3–5 years of NC programming experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
Proficient with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, CATIA V5, NX) and able to generate optimized tool paths.
Strong understanding of G-code/M-code and GD&T for complex parts.

Responsibilities

Create, test, and optimize NC programs for CNC machines based on CAD models and specs.
Develop efficient tool paths for milling, turning, and multi-axis operations to reduce cycle time.
Assist with tooling, fixtures, and machine parameter setup for production.
Identify and resolve programming issues to improve machine performance and reduce waste.
Collaborate with engineering, machinists, and quality teams to meet requirements.
Document NC programs, tool lists, and setup sheets for repeatable processes.
Ensure compliance with aerospace standards (AS9100/ISO9001) and company quality rules.
