Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Natural ADABAS Developer to analyze and develop system requirements, code and debug Natural with ADABAS, and support production migrations. This role requires a current Top Secret clearance and is fully remote within the United States.

The candidate will work within the SDLC, design solutions across multiple systems, and collaborate with customers to define requirements. Preferred skills include Connect Direct, NaturalONE, IBM MQ, Confluence/Jira, and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Current Top Secret clearance required.
• Strong SDLC knowledge and hands-on development experience.
• Experience with large mainframe or client-server apps (batch/online).
• Ability to gather and define customer requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs and codes applications following specifications with appropriate tools.
• Maintains and modifies existing software applications.
• Analyzes system factors and data flow for problem resolution.
• Performs modifications to and maintenance of programs and procedures.
• Participates in code reviews to ensure standards compliance.
• Documents programs, operations, and user guides per standards.
